Do you like the 2008 or 2009 endzone design better? I'm kinda in the middle. The 2008 looks better throughout the season. The 2009 one looks bad at the end of the year, but looks great at the beginning. I wonder if doing field turf for just the endzones would work? You have to admit the endzones with field turf look great.

2008....

I like 2009 better, and I think it's because it has more letters, more color, and takes up the entire endzone.

I like the color scheme and ALABAMA//CRIMSON TIDE idea of the 2009 endzones... but the font is terrible... what is it italicized Arial? The font from the 2008 endzones is awesome..and seems to be a "Bama" font.. Nike uses it one everything they sell for us at least...

I'm in favor of whichever endzone scheme produces the most TDs for the home team. The change in 2009 was obviously part of "The Process." Who are we to question it?... :D

The 2009 design (and font) is a throwback from the 80's if I remember correctly. I'll have to dig up some old pics and scan them.

I guess I will have to be the lone dissenter. I am just a simple plow boy from South Alabama and I think the more green the better, put me down for the 2008 version. Too much color spoils the beauty and the pagentry of Alabama football.

I know our end zones in the 90s under Stallings were the opposite colors...white with red letters. It always looked cheap because you just can't spread white paint over green grass like that and expect it to look great all season. I like the red end zones with white letters.

Someone would have to provide a pic, because I sure don't remember that. We used to have the same white ALABAMA in the endzones but no crimson background. As I recall, but I've been known to be wrong.

I remember...it was white letters that had a crimson shadow. That is what we had in the 90s...same font though.
