When I was living up there, I think it was in 2007, Bama played Houston and it WAS available on ESPN Gameplan. But some nincompoop there at Comcast added it to their blackout list during the week and it wasn't shown on Comcast ESPN Gameplan in the Atlanta area.
Just typing this memory makes my blood boil again.
I have directv and was planning on ordering on ppv by remote, but as of now it doesn't have the game up to order yet!:conf3:

Yeah, you'll have to call them and they'll charge you an extra $5.
Does that mean "NO" ESPN PPV in California and Alabama?
Or just the ESPN3 internet feeds?
Thanks
Sorry fans, but ESPN3 has blacked out the game in Califonia and Alabama.

This isn't anything new. It's the same way they handled it last year on ESNP360. It only affects the ESPN 3 free feed over the internet and isn't connected to the PPV broadcast of the game. PPV would be pointless if everyone who wanted to see the game could do so for free by other means. It's just handled by proximity to the schools that are involved.BAMAfan777 said:Does that mean "NO" ESPN PPV in California and Alabama?

Are you sure?
Just called Verizon Tech support in Southern California and the Tech refunded my $25 because he said the ESPN Gameplan PPV Alabama/SJSU was being blocked out in all of Cal and Ala........Internet and PPV.
Just noticed they didn't shut off my Gameplan PPV channels (even though they stated a refund), so I will see at 6pm CST.
See my post on black out areas on ESPN3.com.! :BigA:
