While I don't want to see us slinging it downfield, I NEVER want to see us tell guys to not try to score. To me, it's more insulting to take pity than to tone it down and continue to do your thing.

That's what I mean. Even with our basic game plan and reserves, we can run it down their throats. Ditto on pulling up in the intensity, good luck trying to make the reserves not wanting to show off anyway.

We didn't want to play them. We had to find an opponent to fill the hole occasioned by the back-out. However, I think they're giving a good account of themselves, for a first year program...
