We have thread hijackers on message boards and there are some that this hijacking practice drives nuts. Well, I've found it does even "better" on Facebook. To those posters who try to be the next great quote machine of wisdom and understanding. The ones that can never lighten up and say something light hearted. Rather have to constantly put philisophical words of wisdom to all the commoners out there in FB world.

I was in a "frisky" mood the other day and I've got about three on my friends list who are like this. One of them is nothing more than a drama queen so I figured I'd have a little fun. The next time she posted one of her "serious", philosophical type post I threw in a humorous, "lighten up the mood" comment. Boy did I not realize what kind of impact this had on the chic. It sent her into a little hissy fit. So, as one would expect.....I keep doing it. :biggrin2: She told me to stop "hijacking" her statuses that they were intended to help other people and me posting "jokes" took away from that.

In my mind I was like "Really?! Do you really take yourself that seriously?!" Its almost like she's taken upon herself as her mission in life to be the FB "Wisdom giver". Anyways, if you want to have a little fun, go through your friend list and find these type posters, because I know we all have at least one, and have a little fun. :biggrin2:

Haha, I do that all the time. It's my favorite way to get rid of 'friends' who annoy the crap outta me - if I can cause them to 'unfriend me' I consider that a total victory.

I take great pleasure in culling the herd every few months. I don't bother with passive-aggression, I just unfriend and/or block. It's a small thing, but it makes me so happy. :biggrin2:

You can also limit who sees your posts on Facebook.

Repeat offenders get put on that list. Saves me the trouble and grief from de-friending someone.
