I think I remember seeing something from his coach about his progress. Apparently, he's done pretty well. I think his coach said he doesn't have very good stats, but that's only bc they don't throw it his way often.

CB Deion Belue is listed in the prospect list as having a current offer. The chances are good that he will end up at Alabama unless there are some unforeseen circumstances.

Corner numbers are different. Thrown at four times with one int and three breakups would be almost perfect. Thrown at zero with four tackles and one sack would be even better.

I think the original poster was inquiring about his academics also. I've heard he still has a way to go academically to qualify. I think his skill is without question. I think Deion and his current coach are approaching this as Bama has first choice. He will be much needed when we lose Mark Barron, Menzie, Green, and possibly Lester.

That is the "unless there are some unforeseen circumstances" that I was referring to to in my post just abouve yours.:BigA:Rumor has it that he is a lock for Bama, but grades could be an issue again this year.

He says he plans on graduating in December and have three to play two. Have not heard much on his recruitment this time around. Do you think he has a committable offer?

I posted this in another thread, but the staff has told if he can get in by December/January, then they'll take him. Any later than that and probably not.

I have also heard we are going hard after another larger CB from Juco (name escapes me) and I do not know if his recruitment would effect Belue's offer.
Edit: I checked the prospect list and the other Juco corner is Dixon at an AZ Juco. Anyone know our status with him?
