Looks like Trent's not gonna win the Heisman

Heismanology just dropped him from 1st to 3rd and so did Heisman Pundit. Stiffarm has not updated but it looks like RG III is going to win it now. Nov 5th didn't cost us a shot at the BCSNCG but not winning the SEC and not giving Trent the chance to make a statement again this weekend is the difference. I've never seen a Heisman race be this fluid. If RGIII wins it so be it....I just don't want Luck to get it.

BCS selection show discussed it a little - partially due to not playing this week and some backlash against the SEC to boot. I'd like it for TR, but he's got his priorities straight and isn't sweating it.

RGIII is great but taking off my crimson colored glasses I have never seen a better running back than Trent Richardson.

I don't mind RG3 winning the Heisman. He's made Baylor a great team (I do question the system thought after what the back up did against TT).

My problem with him winning lies with the voters. For the majority of the season, Trent and Andrew Luck were the main candidates. After upsetting Oklahoma and whipping Tejas, RG3 has become the favorite. He had a couple of big time televised games, and he becomes the leader.

Well, we needed one of those classic performances from RGIII to help us along our way back into the BCS NG (his game vs. Oklahoma). And I'll bet you Trent would gladly trade the Heisman for the crystal football if given the choice. He should win the Doak Walker though. If not, then that would be the real shame.

As much as I like TR I'd vote for RG3. Dude's electric and has put his team on his back several time and willed them to victory. Something TR hasn't done (before you flame I know we haven't asked him to do that).....

You see his pregame Heisman posedown too? Yeah I had heard him interviewed earlier in the year and he was nothing like that, seemed like a very intelligent and thoughtful dude. I really didn't like the way he acted.

Apparently that is the only time you've heard him speak. He comes off the exact opposite of that. To me he just seemed like he was showing pride for his school......

I could see Montee Ball winning it somehow with his 378 TD's haha. The Doak Walker that is.

TR is amazing, but really, RGIII - despite the hype - has had an absolutely amazing year. No shame if he wins.

Can't really argue with RG3 winning. He was definitely been outstanding. The timing is kind of lame. Had Griffin played last week and Trent played this week Trent would be the front runner. People are very fickle.

I was not impressed at all with his postgame comments. Can't imagine Trent or Ingram making such statements after a game. Very classless.
