Some of the comments make me sick. I can undersand being upset, but hoping a player gets hurt? Really? That just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

According to one poster, ...... "wrote the book on cheating" and yet this is one area where *U really excels. Bama got hit with worse sanctions in the textbook case that they did with tiger prowl and the whole selling of scam saga. The barn has taken cheating to
a whole new level. Maybe crime doesn't always pay.

It is sad that people do not have better things to do than to write some of that kind of trash about a kid and his school choice. Some people need to get their priorities right and get a life.

Not surprising Bleacher Reports follows the Barn message board. The quality of the writing is about the same.

Frankly, I have grown accustomed to this sort of thinking from SEC fans of every school, including Alabama. Read those posts and then think back about the things that Bama fans said during the Cam Newton "episode". A kid chooses a school other that the one that we love and there must have been some sort of "payoff". Sad.

These are kids. Leave them alone.

There is no doubt his future is much brighter, I could have at least understood his thinking if Tubby and Borges were still there running a productive ground game, so I have to assume that he his close proximity to a lot of Auburn fans played a huge roll.

This is the year we needed another blue chip RB. Our last years grab, who may or may not be a workhorse type is coming off a bad knee injury. I see a big opportunity for a freshman to follow in the shoes of Ingram, Trent, Lacy and hopefully Hart this year. Playing this year, and becoming a big part of the offense next season and then starting as a Junior. He will leave with a lot of tread on those knees! Auburn is good at wearing down backs, we don't.

Smart decision and no way does he reverse it. He just made the best decision of his life imo, a future 1st rounder if he works hard.

It is what it is..It's the age we live in with the internet..I agree with ya 100% though..These are kids..It's borderline psychotic how college football fans react to everything they do before finally signing with a school..I respect the auburn football players..Cause there's a few I wanted wearing Crimson..It's their fans I hate with a passion..

So, you're saying it's okay if a father shops around his son for cash. Yes, sometimes a player picks a school where he's more comfortable (Clowney etc.), and sometimes there's illegal benefits involved. I'm not going to torch a kid for going where he wants, but to paint over admitted shopping is to turn a blind eye.

why would we need to pay a player to switch? that's the thing that's so dumb about their accusations. unless you're a lifelong auburn fan, there's nothing that would compel you to go there over alabama.

No, I am saying that internet speculation is out of control. One person's "theory" feeds another's and a monster is born of every act. I don't know what happened with Cam or his father, just as I don't know what happened with Calloway or TJ. In the end, I trust that they went where their hearts and dreams took them. For most kids, that isn't going to be Bama. Nothing wrong with that.

So, when I read a recruiting story in which a kid declares for a school, my first thought is "Good for him!" Why? Because someone's dreams were just fulfilled. Why let it become something ugly?

They seem to forget that they their team was 7-5 and on a downward trajectory, while we're 11-1 and heading to a potential national championship.
