Big D linemen are a premium. If you can get them, get em. Don't hole a scholly for JW, who is playing us and won't sign until after signing date. His antics could cost us a potential difference maker. Would love to have Tomlinson AND Casher.

I just googled D. Tomlinson. He looks like a future Bama D Lineman if you ask me.

Agreed on the interplay of Kirven, Tomlinson, and Casher. I tend to feel confident about Alexander because he just seems to be a 'Bama guy at heart, but he's just not getting the summer offer. No reason why we would do that for an undersized kid recovering from an injury that will not allow him to get on the field in 2012. Hate it for him, but that's why it works out that way.
As for Winston, I'm afraid we've long since established precedent that we can't have an adult conversion about him around here without it being blown up with hot air and hyperbole. I think you're right, to be sure, but I'm just going to forgo substantive comment on him all together for now. I'll speak my piece once the ink dries on the dotted line and I'll leave it at that.

It's never been confirmed that Winston had a "deal" with Yeldon or Taylor. It's all been rumored. Granted, the rumors about Yeldon and Taylor came true. Those rumors also included Channing Ward.

I also think we should just move on from the JW circus and waiting games...any of the defensive linemen that we have a shot at would be a great addition to the already #1 class IMO! btw i watched some drills of tomlinson and came away very impressed with his skills, alot faster then i thought he was and is very strong!!

^^This... at this point I don't think the staff will waste time, effory, or a spot they could potentially snag a top recruit with, in order to save a spot in hopes Winston might change his mind. I think the only circus you can see now will be the one at the BJCC this weekend...

Dalvin Tomlinson: 'Bama
Eddie Goldman: FSU
Jameis Winston: FSU then MLB
Korren Kirven: Tennessee
Kwon Alexander: LSU
DGB: Missouri
One candidate for an unexpected flip late? Brandon Greene. Not saying it will happen, but I do think it's an outlier possibility. FWIW, I think everyone else, including Justin Taylor, sticks.

I see he is rated as a soft verbal by rivals, but don't see that he took any official visits elsewhere. Hope he sticks, but sure he is getting the full court press from UGA and the towel waving crew.

my prediction.....pain
my real prediction is we keep our players unless it appears they wont qualify. I think we add kwon and Tomlinson. Kirven is up in the air, im saying he goes bama too, why not be optimistic?
