Well a poster on TI, who's right a lot more often than he's wrong, says Carter could get reinstated Friday or Monday. I guess we'll let the rumor mill go on a little longer...
How many lives does this story have left? I thought it was dead 10 minutes ago when I read the let's shut this post down...... oops I did not pay attention to the until the next tweet clause. What are the odds this kid sees playing time at Alabama? I give about 1 in 10 right now.

Heh. The rumor that won't die. If DC doesn't make it on the field at Bama, he's a good candidate to play the Jason Voorhees character. 
He has the prototypical body for the position. Tall, fast, low body fat, strong with long legs but a good sized and compact upper body. His has great flex in his hips where he can do anything he wants with his legs and make very fluid and strong moves.
If he plays a year or two and stays healthy, he gets drafted. Our other receivers have the potential, but Duron is a cut above right now and would be a huge addition to our offense.
I guess that is the reason that Coach Saban has taken the Drama the he hates. The upside is tremedious and you are correct, he is a Julio type. A prototypical 21st century NFL WR.
Everyone would like to see him get the opportunity but the reoccurring theme of hope rising only to be dashed has certainly made the situation rather comical. Of course, sometimes all you can do is laugh because it seems that getting your hopes up too high for Duron is going to end poorly.
I hope a fresh start is on the way. A player with the capabilities of Carter being available is never a bad thing. I'm not getting my hopes up too high though.

On a serious note, I hope he gets his priorities straight and he makes the team....we could use him....best of luck DC, it's up to you to choose the narrow path or the wide path....individual decision!
