You're right, but he was so interchangeable in the defense his first year, he might as well have been.

Actually he was. He started as a freshman, he started off 2009 starting but the knee injury took him out, right?!

Mercilus is not a bad pick and not considered a tweener like Upshaw is.

I'd like to see the Packers pick him. They might if Jerel Worthy is gone. But, I doubt the Bengals take Worthy, so I'd be shocked if the Packers don't. He might fall to the Giants which wouldn't suck for Upshaw.
