How about we all agree that Fanning's play was unnecessary and unsportsmanlike and leave it at that. Saban and the office will handle it as needed. I don't think I've seen him play much thus far so I'm sure he was a little over excited. One play doesn't make him a thug.

I posted about the fear of injury in this game and am just glad it is over. At least Mizzou showed grit. They kept fighting. Hope everybody heals up and hope some grow up.

I'm sure we won't hear anything until Monday. I'm sure he's going to be very sore tonight and even more tomorrow, but, if he could come back, I'd be very surprised if he can't play next week...

Saban said the doctor wants to monitor it for 24 hours. But that he doesn't think it is serious. I guess we will know at the next press conference.

The QB takes the ball and either gives to the fullback/RB or follows the fullback up the hole, sometimes with a pitching option. I think it is sort of an off-tackle run with the QB.
