Alabama is favored by 24 points against Mississppi State

As I noted earlier, an MSU alum said their only chance was if we overlooked them. That's why I'm glad they're undefeated - nobody overlooks an unbeaten and CNS can pound that into the guys heads. Plus if youve seen them play, they have yet to put together two solid halves. That's why I thought Tenn might beat them.

They only led MTSU 10-3 at half.

I think were MSU not undefeated, this could be a trap game, but I doubt our team overlooks the currently #11 ranked team.

Agreed. This is not a trap game for the team. For any entitled fans out there? Yeah, it's a trap game for them.

Alabama is definitely 24 points better than Mississippi State, I know that much. But games are never played on paper. I expect it to be a tough game, and if we don't turn the ball over we'll win. But anything can happen.

Well I see Alabama scoring at least 40 points

I see MSU with no more than 14 (7 off backups)

We have not seen this teams best game yet.

I see this game going much like the Tennessee game. The game will start out competitive then Bama will slowly begin to squeeze the life out of state. If anyone hasn't been tested its been State. They've had one of the weakest front end loaded schedules I've seen in quite sometime.

This is a strange game not unlike UT. They have very good corners and defense overall. They can score some points on offense. We don't know how good they really are though we have like opponents. I don't think it will matter too much. Could we be peeking ahead to Whoserville, sure, but this team is focused on the task at hand. I see a similar score from past games. Bama all the way!!

Also too, they usually draw LSU earlier in the season, but now there are 14 teams in the SEC, they have not faced a tough SEX west opponent until this coming Saturday.

I just noticed Oregon is favored by 47.5 against Colorado. Wow!!!

I know Colorado is dreadful and Oregon scores points quickly, but that is a very high line for a conference game. I can't recall a higher conference game line.

USC was a 41 point favorite over Stanford in 2007 and ended up losing 24-23. That was the largest point spread upset in NCAA history.

Based on our history I expect THIS one to be our close call. We just played a great game that was still not our best. I'm thinking this is close, say 20-14, and we wax LSU.

I'm thinking it's a close one. Those bulldawgs are hungry and they are coming in to fight. I do think Bama will prevail, and I hope I'm wrong by 30, but I'm thinking Bama by 7. I live amongst these idjits, and they are bypassing the fact they've played virtually nobody, and replacing it with "Bama's played nobody."

When you're good, you can make a somebody look like a nobody.

I've seen a few of their posters with two brain cells to rub together who get it. They're pointing out the similarity of the spread on this one vs. the spread on UA/UT, a team we stomped and which they had to really struggle to beat at home. IOW, the bookies are basically equating them with UT. I have a close friend who has a degree from MSU. In fact, his dad was at first HC and then principal at Starkville HS. His wife's dad taught at MSU. He's brutally down to earth about MSU - the FB team, facilities, everything. I think I'll text him and see if he thinks the spread is too wide...

I would be interested in his take on things as well.

I grew up just across the state line from where you are and they talk like they have 'Bama's tradition.
