I don't think Earle or any other informed poster has implied this has anything to do with CNS's relationship to BB. You don't hire an AD and somehow "forget to bring the new guy up to speed" on something which is likely THE most important fact to know at UA (his relationship to CNS). Moore became a close friend to Saban during the years after his hire... and in all fairness to BB, there's not been enough time to replicate anything remotely close to that relationship since BB became AD.Only my opinion, but Coach came here with Mal's blessing of having complete control. Mal is saddly gone and evidently the new guy didn't get the email. It seems to me that Coach is probably dictating his authority to the powers that be and trying to get all players in the same game. Best thing that could happen is for the higher ups tell BB worry about the other sports, Coach has the football under control, or see ya later. Hopefully it will work out for the best and the power brokers don't screw this up.
I may be off on this line of thinking, IDK.
I'm with you on that.Couldn't believe it when I heard that. Battle lost me there.
Well I'm glad they're a captive audience. Let me say this Bevo fans: Even if Colt hadn't gotten hurt ALABAMA WOULD HAVE WON!Well, the folks over at shaggybevo are hanging on everyone in this thread's words. At least we're putting on a good show for them.
And to add: maybe if your QB is important (or critical) to your team's success, it may not be a good idea to use him in a running play inside the 15 yard line against a defense like Alabama had in 2009. That's big boy football, and the hits tend to hurt.Well I'm glad they're a captive audience. Let me say this Bevo fans: Even if Colt hadn't gotten hurt ALABAMA WOULD HAVE WON!
Put THAT in your crack pipes and smoke it....
It wasn't even a really hard hit....And to add: maybe if your QB is important (or critical) to your team's success, it may not be a good idea to use him in a running play inside the 15 yard line against a defense like Alabama had in 2009. That's big boy football, and the hits tend to hurt.
http://www.mrsec.com/2013/12/sec-recruiting-notebook-alabamas-recruiting-keeps-rolling/Alabama 24 commitments in its 2014 class, which has a comfortable hold on No. 1 in the Rivals Team Rankings.Alabama’s loss to Auburn has rejuvenated the Nick Saban-to-Texas rumors, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering their popularity in recent months. But they haven’t appeared to cause any concern among recruits.
“(Saban) told me he is too old to build another program,” Jones, who chose Alabama over LSU, told TideSports.com. “He would rather keep what he has now. He wants to retire at a place where he loves. He doesn’t want to go somewhere and try to rebuild. He may not be able to rebuild by the time he is ready to retire.”
You don't understand. The UT fans think it's noble for him to lie to recruits right up to the last second, in their twisted logic. It's one of the the facts which make me think that this will all blow over and he'll sign the extension. At the end of the day, that's what I think happens, no matter the last minute static...
I'm guessing there's no timetable that you know of, or can disclose. For example, if we don't hear anything by the weekend to be more concerned? You don't understand.
