In that area shown off Scott Street in Houston, #6, I think, years ago in an article in the Texas Monthly (I think), it stated that if you were on that street after midnight, you were probably dead!

At one time, Bham had the 4th highest murder rate in the country. Primarily the West End area. Still dangerous over that way, but it's cleaned up a bit.
