****Bama vs. Hogs Postgame Headache Thread****

I will never complain about a win. Our great players made plays when they had to. Jonathan Allen and Landon Collins on the INT. Good play call on last TD and pocket awareness too by B. Sims. A young team survived on the road. I'll take it and we just need to keep improving.

Defenses have figured out his weaknesses.

They've figured out a way to stop AC and they've taken away our short stuff and Sims has lost any semblance of confidence, typical of first year starters.

We've got to pass the ball past the linebackers to make these teams loosen up on us a little.

We have no identity on offense. Our OL simply does not enjoy knocking people on their backsides which is unacceptable. Blake Sins is just not seeing things. It's like someone has pulled his shirt over his head. Every drive in the last two games I just hoped for one more set of downs for the chance of a long TD.

Emotionally, I actually think this team is pretty together. Mentally, they are not. This team is absolutely not prepared mentally. They can't hold onto the ball to save their lives. They're so nervous you'd think they've seen a ghost. They have zero poise and they don't trust their instincts.

Our offense has scored what 2 or 3 touchdowns total in the last 2 games? Looks like we have no idea how to attack a D or how to execute consistently.

And please make Sims practice the QB Sneak..Get low & hug the C's big butt & push forward..Don't get vertical & try to jump over those giants..I'm still scratching my head about that play..

Oline being awful today was not Sims' fault.

Agree, the O-line sucked all day. Our rushing total may be an all time low. I have questioned Cristobal before, but now I think the O-line is the major difference in our play this last 2 years. I've heard it said it is talent, but State has no where near our talent yet they are performing at a far higher level. Hard for any RB to successful when they get hit 2 yards behind the line on every play.

Sims has not played well the last 2 weeks He seems to have forgotten he is a really talented runner. If he will tuck it every now and then he'll find his receivers are getting open because the defense has to account for him. I think Saban is kind of in a lose/lose right now at the QB position. The team believes in Sims, but I think Saban would like to see what Coker could do if given the chance. If we continue to under perform, He'll have to make a move of some kind.
