Prior to AJ McCarron, Alabama has not had a QB with the hype that either Cornwell or Barnett have in years.
I thought that Gary Hollingsworth, David Smith, & Brandon Avalos were just as hyped weren't they?

Nobody knows the future, but it seems almost certain that our qb play will eventually catch up to the elite level of other positions we've had in recent years.
Not that McCarron and Sims weren't great players in their own right, but whatever happens with guys like Cornwell and Barnett, coupled with what CLK did with Sims, it leads you to believe we could really see something special with one/both of these guys.
Also, both Cornwell and Barnett have NFL measurables too. It's almost inevitable until we have a first round qb very soon IMO.
Dun..dun..dunn...Another option is... We could use two Qbs system....
Dun..dun..dunn...
Not the dreaded 2 headed QB system.
Anyone know if A-Day will be televised this year. I heard it will only be partially televised and that ESPN will be switching between different spring games. Can anyone confirm?
So they will have whip around coverage on the SEC network but all the games will be shown in full coverage on WatchESPN? That's how I understand it..
SEC Network alternate channel. There's a baseball game on the SEC Network.
That's lame. The spring games must not have received good ratings. Thx for the info..

well this might damper it a littleThe spring game will replay on SECN/SECNHD at 5pm, presumably at the conclusion of the Florida @Miss State baseball game. Just scheduled my DVR to record, can't wait, and hoping for a injury free practice with a large turnout!

In memory (or honor) of Lou Holtz leaving ESPN: "If you have two quarterbacks, you don't have one."
