Agree 100%.This is insane. I know a lot of you hate LSU, but I love that game. Every year, I look forward to it. Every year, I just want us to be in a position that when we play LSU, it's the most meaningful game of the year. LSU is committing suicide.

I agree with both of you. But after dropping 5 in a row to Bama, evidently simply scaring Bama fans and winning their respect isn't good enough to keep the corndogs happy. They actually want to beat Bama occasionally. (But who doesn't?)Agree 100%.
They feel like they should contend for NCs and be competitive in the West. They've lost five in a row to Bama, and three of those games were not even competitive. And it doesn't look like things are going to change. This is insane. I know a lot of you hate LSU, but I love that game. Every year, I look forward to it. And don't call me surely. What I dont understand is why announce he is having a meeting with the team. I would think they meet before every practice. Something Shirley is up , do you think they would fire him before the end of the season.
Flip side of that is he could have 0. In 2007, he lost to Kentucky and an unranked Arkansas and somehow still got to the BCSNCG.If Okie State doesn't lose to Iowa State in 2011, Miles probably has yet another national championship.
Told my brother the same the other day when this talk started to heat up. Losing 5 straight to the man that broke their heart is bad enough. Losing two of those 5 at home while having their hearts ripped out makes it even worse. But for two miracle drives by Bama in 2012 and 2014, it's a lot different. 2013 swung on a fake punt. This year we dominated, true, but it's not like we are blowing them off the field. If Okie State doesn't lose to Iowa State in 2011, Miles probably has yet another national championship.
I think they look at the fluke games Ole Miss has had and think they can beat us too. I don't see it.
I asked this earlier but I still think it relevant: If Saban had not built the LSU program from the ground up -- and that job had fallen to Les Miles -- would he have had anywhere near the same success? I don't think so.If Okie State doesn't lose to Iowa State in 2011, Miles probably has yet another national championship.
Yeah, but you could also argue that all a coach can do is put his team in a position where if the breaks go his way, they win a championship. Saban has done that. Ball breaks differently he could have a couple more or a couple less. Miles has done the same thing for LSU.
Doubtful. And the L5U fans know it, which is why they're so upset with Miles. They want Saban, or a Saban clone, and they'll never be happy because such an animal will never roam their sidelines again.I asked this earlier but I still think it relevant: If Saban had not built the LSU program from the ground up -- and that job had fallen to Les Miles -- would he have had anywhere near the same success? Wow.
Ditto....Wow.
If he is fired it leaves no question as to whether or not Miles has been 'processed'...
