Link: Tenth Player (Fifth OL) Transfers from LSU This Offseason

I noticed that on the Rant also. To here them, they'll hardly even need an OL. This, of course, is based on their guesses as to what Canada will do. Hope springs eternal... :D

We are doing the same with RUN DA-BOLL!

I think we are in better shape with more, and better pieces to put the puzzle together with.

We've had a few transfers as well. It's the new nature of the beast. Why wait/compete for playing time when I can just transfer to a Juco and then to a smaller or less competitive D1 and play?

Every single one of those players was beaten out last year or in the spring with the exception of Seth Stewart who has decided college football isn't for him and Tuehama who would have been a 3rd year starter but failed to make grades. Tuehema's loss will hurt. Poor decision to make Stewart one of the 25 signees, and by the way, that scholarship has now been given to Jordan Jefferson's younger brother who thankfully is a WR and not a QB.

For things that make you go hmmm, Tuehema may transfer to USC, perhaps one of the finest academic institutions in the west. Yet, he failed out of LSU. I'm not knocking my Alma mater, but just find this bizarre because I still want to believe these are student athletes.

That makes me question the grades/attendance stuff altogether. USC would not take him if he had academic issues at LSU.

They still have 12 on roster

We have 18

When you get down to 12....scout team play gets a bit "iffy".... hurts your defenses preparedness

Playing devil's advocate a bit. But is it possible this is simply a "cleansing" process Ogre is wanting to happen to weed out players that he feels aren't buying in? Maybe something similar to Saban's first year when we had guys dropping like flies, getting suspended, held out of games because they weren't buying in?

That's very possible, but even Saban said he didn't weed out as many as he wanted because he knew he still needed to keep a few players in order to win games.

Don't play Devils advocate. Remember what the good book says. Hate thy opponent as you would have them hate you. Especially if they have a tiger mascot.

The only players that Saban had on the '07 roster were the ones that he signed in the spring of '07. Orgeron has been in Baton Rouge since Jan 2015 and should have a good grasp of the individuals on his roster

This cannot be good for Big O. If he does not produce results immediately he will be shown the exit pretty quickly...maybe even before the season ends. There is no scenario where 10 players leave a team in one season - half of which play in trenches - and your program is better off.

Make it 11 players now. Redshirt freshman QB Lindsey Scott, Jr. announced his transfer this morning on Twitter.

If Danny Etling goes down, looks like LSU will have two walk-ons and two true freshmen.
