I know we have the fall practice thread, but I thought it might be good to funnel news/updates about today's scrimmage (and maybe the next couple ones) into one thread.

I'm looking forward to hearing about what happens...just hope we get some stats and news.

Note: If admins/mods decide to move this to the big practice thread, I understand. Just thought scrimmages are a little different than other practices.

I thought that was a couple of years ago, Prof, tho I could be mistaken...

I believe he referred to himself as "CapstoneKid", or some such iteration, on twitter...

Man he was popular for a few weeks.

Have not heard much - if anything - from him since...


Oh and, Moon, love the idea of a separate thread for scrimmage news...

At this point, I'll just say they're competitive but maybe a bit too competitive.

-- There are "things to work on" with the kicking game. Missed a few FGs, a few other were blocked. Kickoff and KO return was strong. "And it's not just the kicker" on FGs, Saban said.

Our kick game is probably going to be 2010-2011 caliber bad by all indications. Concerning when we inevitably get into a close game.
