Same for the player yesterday. Sometimes an official needs to use sound judgement.

yeah, and that player ended up in the locker room. richt's was much more egregious than the uk players.

Personally I think if you're going to allow a coach to have a heated discussion with you then touching your arm or shoulder is not outside the realm of normal impassioned communication. Obviously if you yank someone or punch them, the you should be removed from the game and/or lose your job.

I can't stand both of them, Joey and Jesse. Jesse was livid that we were EVEN in the CFP, why ask him whose going to win.

On another note, Richt should be gone. Goes back to the horrible refs in this bowl season. A kid get kicks out for rejecting a refs help, but coach can grab and push ref and stays in. Horrible!

I don't disagree with you - I am just glad that Richt wasn't tossed. Did he deserve it? Yes, by rule he did. But would the game be better for it? No, it would not. He will probably be fined, but it won't hurt his team.

I thought Galloway was actually more sane. I get that he's an tOSU alum and his arguments I thought were acceptable. But Palmer? He seemed as apoplectic as Kanell has ever seemed.
