I wish UCF would have made the playoffs so Bama could have showed them what real football looks like.

They wouldn't stay within 3TDs of Bama, UGA, or OU.

And for the record, I grew up in Orlando and contemplated attending / playing at UCF. I like the school, I like what they're working to build. But playing that weak of a schedule then claiming a NC is BSu level ridiculous.

Yeah, my BiL work for UCF (Cocoa campus) and he said that most UCF fans there are just happy to end the season undefeated. He doesn't know anyone at UCF (on the staff) that believes that they would have won the CFPNC. But the students are different. They believe that UCF could have won it all.

Fans are crazy.

Not just their students...

Butthurt Clemson fans are consoling themselves by saying that next week's winner will have to share the National Championship with UCF.

I was there too... The DuBose debacle... That was the beginning of the end for him... I remember seeing a picture of Mal Moore watching that game from the tunnel and he was NOT happy.

My wife and I know a couple in the Huntsville-area; the wife graduated from UCF and husband is just a UCF fan (along with tOSU and SCar from time to time), and boy, have they been beating the "National Champions" drum since the CFB Playoff teams were announced. We've ended up muting them on social media; just stop please.

Attention UCF fans!!! You can't officially claim the Natl Championship until it's voted on by the ONLY TRUE governing body of college football..................the Opelika News. The whole nation waits for them to declare the true champion.

They finished the season undefeated and beat the only team that beat the two finalists. Nobody really believes they should be national champions, but they are a legitimately very good team and should be proud of the season they had. I have no problem with fans beating their chest a little.

Have to give Danny White some credit. When asked on Twitter if the coaching staff would get national championship bonuses, he said they were indeed informed today they would get the national championship bonus.
