Sadly, in most cases, there isn't a "both ends"; it ends with the 1st attempt.

How do you make a legitimate adjustment to the time? Just start the clock. Bama players go off of the clock and it is not fair to take away seconds that they never saw leaving the clock. What if real time had taken it down to zero?
