Only 10? How many "Come on Jalen!"s did you have? If I remember right, I had as many "come on Jalen's" during the season as I had Roll Tides! That is up until the 2nd half of the championship game.
Yah I did notice those things. He seemed to have a real love for Robert Foster and to a lesser extent Cam Sims at the very least. Two of the older guys that Bell would've known from either being on the team together or from recruiting visits.

Maybe they both played high school ball near where John Doe lives? I'm sure someone will tell me they grew up like 1,000 miles apart.
Was Bell's last year 2012 or 2013? He's the one who caught the flea flicker from AJ against A&M in 2013, right? It's a tad of a stretch
Also, I think this falls more into the "theory" category rather than the "rumor" category.
Who ever he is he cracks me up. When he gets worked up I start laughing REALLY hard. "Look, Jerry settin up a tent back there. He be buildin a fire he been there so long."

I think the QB competition is over and Tua will be the starter. At least 99% of the fan base seems to feel that way. Coach Saban probably doesn't want to tip his hand yet because he wants Louisville to take time practicing for both QB's. The only remaining decision for Saban is how he wants to utilize Jalen and Mac in backup duties. I think Mac needs the snaps more than Jalen because Mac has much more potential to get better while Jalen seems to have hit a plateau. If I were coach I'd try to use Mac a lot in mop up duty and then still have Jalen available later in the season if disaster would strike and Tua gets injured. Then either one could play without losing Jalen's redshirt.
Here is an interview with Bell. I couldn't find any with better audio. It's difficult to tell and CA will know this as well but the distance from the mic affects the tamber of the voice and you also lose some of the subtleties. John Doe has some nice clean southern "s" sounds - almost a little lisp-like, and the lows are more pronounced. Bell's interview is further away so the high's are reaching the mic cleaner and you lose some of the vocal subtleties.I'm sure his interview voice is different but anyone listen to interviews with him and compare the voices?
That one really got me. I'm going to miss Tony Brown"This is 'chess' not 'checkers!"
"His Mama knows he can't make that pass"
"Even Tony Brown could make that pass!"
lol

Totally agree. To the average Joe off the street (myself in that category), I'm just looking at what Jalen missed as he threw it. This guy (whoever he is) taught me a lot in that video.Whoever he is, he knows how to break down film, which means he's done it quite a bit.
As others have noted, the breakdown shows that Jalen's biggest problem wasn't bad throws...but rather that he didn't throw to receivers who ran great routes called by great coaches.
That's what I'm wondering too. If Jalen wants to save a year of eligibility he can only play in 4 games. Seems like you would want to save those for later in the season just in case. Personally I would be comfortable seeing Mac run out on the field as the backup.If/when Alabama has put Louisville away with a comfortable lead, it will be interesting to see who Coach Saban puts in at QB.
That IS interesting. Not even just L-ville. Whoever the cream puff is that we play after them.If/when Alabama has put Louisville away with a comfortable lead, it will be interesting to see who Coach Saban puts in at QB.
