No more worries about the field, it is what it is. I hope everyone is pumped and ready for Another Bama Championship. I think that we will see a lot of local product Najee Harris(Cali) in the fourth quarter banging out a win. Just hope Najee remembers ball security!

Here is to Anfernee Jennings having a multiple sack game! He came on against Clemson last year, disrupted things before his gruesome injury!

Do you (or anyone else) know how deep a cut 50lb per foot translates to?

For that much weight per sq ft, it tells me that the soil has a high content of organic matter and clay. Clay has a very small particle size while also having a very large surface area, meaning it’s going to hold a lot of water. Only problem being if high amounts of clay have been used.... plasticity. Personally I would feel better if they had also used biodegradable stakes.

I don't know about soil for turf, but compacted soil like you'd use under a building is usually in the 110pcf-120pcf range. I image that this material would weigh less than that.

Where do you place the stakes?

I woke my fiancée up this morning around 5am this morning and screamed " It is time to win the championship baby!" I walked around the house all pumped up until she came up to me and told me if I don't cut it out, I'll regret it.

After watching the band's Yea Alabama, posted above, oohh man, I think I'm officially ready to run through a wall myself now!
Put me in coach, I'm ready to play!

Probably because he played at Miami during their notorious era, and he's jealous because BAMA has done it so much better.
Facts, not only did Vilma pick Clemson to win 27-17, he said that Dabo with a win will eclipse Saban as the best coach in CFB.

Why does Jonathan Vilma hate Bama so much?
It stands out doesn't it! Talk about an impartial analyst. I watched the SEC crew last night after vetoing Vilma with my remote. The SEC crew did their best to be impartial and respectful of Clemson but it was clear in the end they felt that the Tide would be a major challenge for the Tigers.

I have little use for analyst who don't even attempt to go into a comparison of the levels of competition a team has faced. Of course he is an ACC homie!

Vilma was on that 2001 Miami team considered to be one of the best teams of all-time. Maybe he's just selfishly hoping this Alabama team doesn't complete the task at hand because this roster will likely trump that Miami squad both in terms of single season dominance and long-term roster quality w/r/t NFL draft picks and all-pro players.
