This game is causing me to be completely unproductive at work today. Feels bigger than the last couple NCG for some reason.

i find myself surprisingly calm in the lead up to this game. i think it is a combination of this being the 4th time in 4 years that we are waiting on the ncg kickoff and the performances in last year's title game and this year's seccg where we played about as bad as we could for the first half, were decimated by injuries, and were dead to rights and still found the wherewithal to tighten up our boots in the second half and take care of business without some of our key players.

Shouldn't look at the SEC CG as an indicator of who we are apparently. Every taking head told me this weekend for Georgia was apparently a paper bulldog. They seemed like a team playing to win it all but I guess that's my simple view.

they were playing lights out on offense, but that game was close in large part because tua sprained his ankle on the first series. we left a lot of points on the field in the first half, that game was close to starting out like the oklahoma game

Bama fans headed through Donner pass on way to Santa Clara.

Might not make it. Hopefully won't end up like Donners.

Bahaha! "they found George Donner's body, skull split open, brain missing...surrounded by bones, entrails, and a five gallon bucket of human blood." Let's hope Clemson is in a similar condition, however...football metaphor, of course. :biggrin2:

My anxieties spawn from the narratives that are given life with a loss in this game. That said, I have a feeling we will see Clemson again next year regardless of the outcome of this game.

yeah, with the acc as it is currently, they pretty much have a cakewalk to the playoff every year, and this year they got a cakewalk in the semis too.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed this...but nobody pointed out that how we handled Kyler in first half has lot to do with DJ Durkin who provided his inputs. I wonder if he is doing the same for Clemson?

I hate that the game is on a Monday. It just feels weird and wrong. I assume the reasoning is to not to interfere with the NFL playoffs?

I'm sure that's why but I hate it too. Work all day before the game stay up watching it and then work the next day. Not a ton of fun. Honestly would prefer if all big football games where on Saturdays.
