Well, today, he took credit for McCain's vet bill and also said the military was "on his side." IDK where it goes from here but he's definitely living in a land of delusion. He thinks the army is his personally...

The National Cathedral has basically come out and said Trump is lying about McCain's funeral (big surprise, I know) and his alleged role.

How long until Major Bone Spurs attacks them for the Catholic sex abuse scandal? (They're Episcopal for those who don't know) and something about their pattern of lying and molesting kids?

What's the over/under? 12 hours?


This could not possibly shock anyone, right?

Sad that I've always had more respect for Halley. That was a Palinesquely stupid (And I don't mean Michael Palin) comment she tweeted Bernie, Finland has a world class health system

We all know the answer. Another reason we need another party that doesn’t accept anyone who wants to limit free “speech”. Any speech inciting violence must be restricted, but that’s not at issue here.
The Dems will probably embrace him; if they do, well, that’s another reason I’ll never be one.

there seems to be an epidemic of that going around the gop. maybe they should go to finland and see if they can find an affordable cure.
 
OK - to lighten things up a bit......has it ever dawned on you that this is the George Costanza Presidency? No, I didn't rip this off from anywhere, but I'm equally certain more intelligent persons than I might have noticed some similarities (though you'd have to be a "Seinfeld" fan to get them...

for example.......


Both are from Queens

Both pretend to be great builders (one pretends to be "an architect")

Both worked with New York City real estate

Both are thought to be racist (there's only evidence in the case of one, the other was a plot for the show)

Both function by the philosophy that "it's not a lie if you believe it"

Both are cheapskates with public ceremonies (cheap invitations vs fast food WH visit)

Both insist on a prenuptial agreement

Both are fighting losing battles with their hairlines

Both come up with stupid names for their kids (Baron and Seven)

Both talk incredibly tough when there's no chance of retribution

Both forget common courtesies but insist on them from others (from "thank you" to an apology)

Both use religion for reasons other than actual belief (though Latvian Orthodox was a classic)

One pretended to have leg trouble to get a job, the other to get out of Vietnam

Both think paying for sex is okay (George asked the rabbi if it was okay to visit a prostitute before he got married)

Both invent "charities" and think they are kick ash philanthropists


(There are several others I thought of.....but I'm at work heh heh)

And can't you just see Trump doing things like....

pushing down an elderly person to run out first from a fire?

arguing a trivia question with a bubble boy?

lying about not getting himself off?

double dipping a chip and thinking it was okay?

While I've become numb to the entire "look at me, I'm not going to the White House" self-exaltation this is handling it perfectly.

(FTR for those who don't know.....I'm cynical in the first place of the whole "champions go to the White House" as little more than "let me be seen with these winners so they think I'M a winner." I don't mind who wants to go or not because it's all a big show anyway - when we're talking PRO athletes. However, I think with college players it should be a real simple 'you represent us, you're going.'

Reagan turned this into a ritual, and it's one I'd be fine with ending. And I felt that way long before Trump ever ran).

And Trumpers are fine with the fact he doesn’t care about the American people - he only cares about money.
And they are fine with all of the regulations mentioned in the article that he rolled back.

Just wanted to point out (again), that the broad brush approach to bashing republicans was one of the things that lit a fire under them to get out and vote in 2016. If you keep up the non-stop rhetoric like this, you might just inspire them to do the same in 2020.

Generalities are almost never accurate, regardless as to how badly you wish them to be.
