Fellow Tide Fans,

I joined here a couple of years ago and have been a Bama fan my entire life. Although I don’t post much, I read the threads here a lot. I am asking prayers for my mother and our family, also life-long Bama fans. My oldest brother died at 59 on Christmas Eve in a hospital in Alabaster, after 20 days in ICU. He had multiple medical issues. I drove over from Oxford, MS to see him just before he passed away—unfortunately, he didn’t even know I was there. Grateful for that final visit, though. My mom has now outlived my dad and step-dad, and she has had to bury 2 of her 3 sons. I just appreciate your prayers for her.

You got it, man. Sorry for the (earthly) loss of your brother.

Prayers out to you an your family during this difficult time. His memory will live on to give you peace down the road.

PRAYERS going UP for YOUR FAMILY and YOU. Just remember! After this earthly life, we will be together ETERNALLY in HEAVEN, if we all make the RIGHT decision. I'm personally looking forward to seeing my father, mother, brother, et al in a place without sin, sickness, death, evil, etc.

Thanks for your post, Mo. I'm very sorry for the loss of your brother but much respect to you for being there with him. That counts for a lot.

Hang in there and give your Mom a Roll Tide from all of us. Please tell her she's not the only Mom survivor out there and to just keep going - that's all anyone can do anymore.

Hugs to you and your Mom. 💟

So sad for your family, Mo. The Lord bless you for your show of faith in asking for prayer in the first place. As Matthew 28:20b says, "...and lo, I am with you alway, even to the end of the world. Amen."

We will all face loss at some time, but it's of great comfort to know that we never have to face our loss alone.
