Are there ANY teams that you follow more passionately than the UA football team?
I can think of twice in my lifetime that I personally followed teams with at least THE SAME passion as Alabama football. Whether it exceeded Alabama, I don't know.

1) Ipswich Town F.C. soccer team in the UK
2) 1991-93 Atlanta Braves

Ipswich doesn't really count because I was a soccer fan BEFORE I even know what college football was. Ipswich won the 1978 FA Cup Final, which was about like the 69 Mets winning the World Series. I was in the third grade and we had this ancient concept called "show and tell." Every single time - my "show and tell" was to give a report on Ipswich's most recent game. (This surprises NOBODY who has read more than five of my posts here). By happy coincidence, the team's coach lived two doors down from a classmate of mine - so we wound up going on a class field trip to the stadium and met a few of the players - including Roger Osborne, who scored the winning goal and whose autograph I still have. (To give a parallel - this would basically be like getting Tua's autograph after the win over UGA for the title, but Alabama winning wasn't 1/100 as surprising as Ipswich).

The Braves of 1991 caught the entire South's passion in a way like nothing I've ever experienced. I mean, at Alabama we EXPECT to win. In Atlanta, you hope you don't lose. For about two months in the fall of 1991, though, I felt close my grandfather who had died six years earlier and saw more Braves losses than you can possibly imagine. In person even.

HOWEVER.....and with me there's always one of those...

I don't throw raging and profane fits over any other team. When the Falcons bungled the Super Bowl - which surprised NOBODY who has been a Falcons fan in the last fifty years - I just shrugged my shoulders. When the Braves and Dallas Stars and even when the Texas Rangers blew the series one strike away, I was ho-hum.

But something about Alabama football has always elicited a large degree of emotional joy when something stunning happens and utter rage when the officials screw up on us. I DON'T use profanity in my every day life beyond "damn" and "hell," two words that in the Bible anyway. But I absolutely lost it at the 2018 ATM game when Jimbo was calling timeouts in a game they had ZERO chance of winning, unloading "F" bombs from behind the goalpost (where I was standing). Many times I step out of the game threads BECAUSE I will say something that will send me to the cleaners for a week or more.

The Braves DID elicit that kind of passion from me in 1991 through 93 (it kind of died with the strike tbh with you).

But only Alabama has always done it for over 40 years now, too.

That's an essay answer to a short answer question.

By far, Bama football is my favorite sports team (and always has been).
1. BAMA FOOTBALL

2. Bama Softball
3. Bama Basketball
4. Every other Bama sports teams
5. Individual former Bama football players on NFL teams.

I rarely watch pro sports unless it is to watch Bama players in the NFL. I go to a Braves game once a year but don't watch them on TV too much. I love to watch USA in the Olympics sports. Really, about the only sport I watch on TV is college/Bama football and Bama sports. RTR!

Bama is my only passion. Love all sports including pro soccer but nothing compares. Never been to another fan board either to my recollection and that includes Bama boards.

Alabama Football is by far number one.

Chelsea FC is number two and the only other sport I watch (not counting tennis). Grown to love the EPL. The passion over there for "football" reminds me of the SEC if not worse.

TF is my only forum.

I could have written that post almost verbatim. Only difference is I don’t follow baseball at all.

You’re missing some great entertainment on TigerDroppings and VolNation. Might need to take a shower after a visit to TD (language can get real nasty), but we definitely live in their purple and orange heads rent free.

Alabama Football is the only team I follow passionately. Became a Cubs fan in college and a Memphis Grizzlies fan when I moved here to Memphis, but I don't get worked up with those teams after a loss like I do if Bama Football drops a game. Thank the good Lord those have been few and far between the past 14 years:)

I was born and raised in Alabama, so Alabama football will always be my first love, but I’m a rather passionate Everton fan as well. There are times when I’d say my Everton passion gets to be about 1B to my 1A Alabama passion.

Plus the actual college football season is much shorter than the EPL season, so maybe you could say that my most passionate fandom at a given moment sort of fluctuates depending on the time of year.
