If the LSU game didn’t convince them to watch film then there is a fat chance this does either. I don’t think any rational Alabama fan came away from last night thinking “Our offensive play calling will be better for Georgia”. I mean LSU should have been a serious wake-up call but it obviously wasn’t. We need to stop getting guys that want to stink up the booth and have guys down on the field. Yes Kiffin annoyed the hell out of me playing the play clock so close but there was a method behind the madness. Here it seems it’s more of “ I don’t know what to do so I’ll wait for an adult” from O’Brien.

At some point someone else needs to be calling plays on offense. If that’s Bryce or some sideline coach then so be it. But right now we are either winning or losing a national championship based on our defensive performance and Bryce’s ability to put together Aaron Rodgers type drives. Our offensive play calling has totally checked out.
I don’t see BOB being here next year

I don't think it ever checked in. It's been porous since CBOB started calling plays.

Not much to take away from the game last night, only to say that the team had heart and fought extremely hard throughout the game. Defense kept us in game for 4 quarter, and Young took over at the last second. Hell of a gritty performance.

I pray that O'brien realized that he can't keep messing around like he has the past few weeks. Only thing I can hope is that he calls a brilliant game against Georgia and we have playbook that we haven't ran yet... in another word, we're pulling a Georgia against Georgia. Defense is gelling at the right time. We should be able to keep the game close, but we're going to need the OL to have heck of a game.

No grades for the team... Everyone deserve a praise all around. I'll give MVP game ball to Young... He had a heisman moment last night... Metchie came through in a clutch. Bolden stepped up, etc.

I'm hoping the young receiver who stepped up, Holden, Brooks continues to get better. I don't think we will get Earle back this week but, keep pushing and keep fighting hard.

I think the switch at Center may have helped us stablize the line and we could be okay for sure.

Hope the folks that had been screaming for Bo's benching learned their lesson these last 2 weeks. We could have won this with him. It's painfully obvious how limited we are offensively without him.
Yeah and that’s the thing that probably irks me the most. While we have the fan police sunshine pumpers running a muck since the LSU game, some of us realize that there are serious problems with this team and we have been fortunate not to be 7-5 right now with how horrible our offensive coordinator has been. Bo would have Atleast gotten to 17-20 on us yesterday.

Yeah we are all happy for a win but good grief some on here are acting like we won a sec championship or national championship against y’all’s flawed backup. An Iron Bowl win is always better than an Iron bowl loss. Yes we should enjoy every victory, but we also need to be realistic about the weight of the victory. Yes we should give props towards the resilience of this team and to the guys who played their butts off, but at the same time not everyone has to be over the moon about how we played and coached yesterday.

Good luck to whoever y’all play. Harsin has impressed me this year even though I question his choice not to go for two.

This was how I was last night:
1st quarter-" Defense is coming through... we got this. "
2nd quarter- "What is going on!!?!?! *start drinking beers*
Halftime-"on third drink of beer* This is rough, we gotta score coming out of halftime!"
3rd quarter- " What is going on?!?!!?!? *pour a bourbon shot*
4th quarter with 3 minutes left "I guess we gonna lose to Auburn.... Let me go ahead and pull out the auburn shirt and post a pic of me wearing it...."
4th quarter with 1:27 min left- "wait a min... if we could drive down the field.. unlikely but Young is very good at this..."

4th quarter with 24 sec left " We tied with them, we going OT! No way... we gonna win in OT.. Auburn defense is gassed!"

1st OT- Okay...
2nd OT- We had them!!!!!!
3rd OT- WE had them once again!!!
4th OT_ Defense and Young clutch! I can't believe we won. I was speechless and shocked. NO way we pulled this out of a hat... I was crying and hugging my wife... by then i was on 10th shot of bourbon.

I think it’s more to do with the fact that Alabama stuck it to auburn in a way that is going to make auburn fans sick for years. Ok yeah, we aren’t as good as previous years. I think Alabama will be more set for a run in 2022. But man I just want to enjoy this. This loss is gonna stick in auburns craw forever.

That’s fine and I’m with you. Living near Auburn for most of my life it makes it fun checking Facebook the hour and day after an Iron Bowl victory very enjoyable.

I’m more referring to the crowd that believes any critique makes you a bad fan and that everyone should treat this like the greatest win of all time. I think you can enjoy a win and be critical about aspects of the game at the same time. But that’s too hard for some.

I'm wondering if the fambily is today reflecting how the Alabama win was a gawd thing 🤔
Complaining about refs, Bama is overrated, and overtime was a conspiracy is what I’ve seen from the more obnoxious group.

Most are just happy that they didn’t get blown out and optimistic for the coming years.

Yeah unfortunately for them this is probably the weakest bama team they are gonna see for awhile. Also their recruiting has been struggling. So it’s not gonna get easier for them the way they think it is.

On the fourth and one with 2 minutes left, Trey Sanders made the first down. He hit resistance , never stopped moving and fell over the line to gain. Terrible spot. Refs never should have blown the whistle early as trey never stopped. The ref always gives that forward motion. 99 times out of 100F4E87CD7-9B7E-47AE-8803-270532552566.jpeg
