Harsin and Auburn Drama (Auburn coaching situation talk)

Is Freeze really the best answer for Auburn? And is he their answer purely because he beat Alabama two times in a row? Can any program be more obvious about a coaching hire?
It's like this for me, if I'm a serious candidate to be hired at Auburn:
I have to consider taking the job over so many others that may be more appealing to me, personally. Because, I know, if it doesn't work out, I'm going to be rich beyond measure. If I win a few key games (Iron Bowl, Iron Bowl, etc), they'll pay me more than God. If I lose a few games (Iron Bowl, Iron Bowl, etc), they are still going to pay me a lot to make me leave.
Why not take the Auburn job? Apparently, they have the deepest pockets in all of football. Is Tim Cook really that big of a contributor? Is that why Apple Corp keeps so much cash in it's balance sheet?
Any shareholders visiting here, who would care to elaborate?

I am an Apple shareholder since the 2008 crash; Apple the corporation, could care less. Cook, I don't think; is really that involved in crap like this. If he did; it's his money (he has plenty) and not Apple's.

What is the benefit to doing this? Will these people see a return on their "investment"?

BD -- Before Dabo at Clemson, they had fired and paid off at least 4 coaches in a row...I laughed and said my life goal should have been to be hired and fired by CU. Now, AU is passing them by...but I wouldn't go there for all the dirt in Lee County....this is the theatre of the absurd.
I think his “Sleazy” reputation and ”Creepy” persona are what make him a perfect fit for the Aubruun Whar Eagles…
I think the Aubruun fan base thinks he’s a perfect fit specifically because he was able to pull a couple of wins out of his patootie against Bama…..and that’s all that matters to those folks…
I think the BOT think he’s a perfect fit because his values and moral compass are directly alligned with their own…so he’ll be a perfect “Puppet” for them to pull the strings to make him dance their dance…
The obvious choice is Rush Propst; who knows more about Fambly(s)
If you’re talking about Mason, he took a pretty good pay cut to get outta town also
Do you get the feeling that the folks down at Auburn could screw up a one car funeral procession?
