Unfortunately, I don’t feel playing for the letter on the front of the uniform is the only thing that drives players these days. I honestly don’t know how NIL works but that type of money can certainly factor into the minds of players.
I agree with you. I’m just saying I wish it weren’t that way.

That’s the thing I saw with Lonergan in the spring game. He just “looks” like how a QB should look. Ty should have been the guy the whole time.
Agreed. Not sure you can learn much from a glorified scrimmage but I told my grandson as we left that day that #12 at qb was the only one who looked like he knew what he wanted to do....only one that the game didn't seem "too fast" for. Might be too late at this point to experiment beyond Simpson though.
But Lord, that was an offensive offensive showing tonight.

Here is what I see… Milroe is great against teams with less talent he gets anxious against teams with more talent and tends to take risky chances. He only registered two interceptions against Texas but it could have easily been four. Bulcher can’t pass at all, many of his throws today were in the dirt. Simpson took some sacks today but didn’t make foolish throws into coverage. This was his first real live action with the game on the line and IMO managed it wonderfully. He also made some great throws of various distances. He is green but a little less green after today but I would start him. IMO ne has the best skill set that will grow better with experience. I would ask Milroe to be prepared for the Wildcat package as well as try to get him in as a wr. He is so athletic it would be a shame to waste his talent. I would show. Bülcher where the clip board is and have hime relay plays in from TR.

I’d show Buchner the door personally.
