Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama@TAMU...

Milroe's best game. Probably about as good as he can play. Someone definitely spotted something on film for Burton to have that many catches. Things starting to look favorable to make the SECCG.

Running the ball on 3rd and 23 and throwing the ball with a 1:30 left in the game when Texas 8&4 had no timeouts just burnt me up. I'll take the win but my goodness...
Milroe has advanced faster as a qb than Rees as a play caller. And i was one of the ones thinking milroe would cost us 3 games this season. He has won me over to an extent. Im still not 100% sold but he has made slight improvements over each game. I still think he can be helped out by some safety valve throws but like Blake Sims he just keeps improving little bit by little bit.

Roll Tide! Great game. Got to love Milroe. He screws up on the skip pass because he shouldn’t have thrown it to start with, and seem like lip reading he said, “my bad”. He isn’t perfect by far but man you can’t help but like him. My big question is what took so long for the o-line to get the blocking figured out?

Don't forget that several of those 'penalties' were BS calls. THAT matters. That ridiculous 'blindside block'? Took a TD off the board. How about that 'Roughing the Passer' call?? Worst by far since the Tenn game. Hey SEC....where did you get these guys??😠
I noticed one false start was where the rg moved his head to look up. That was, well, i will say, ticky tack.

Was Milroe hurt today? I know there were rumors, but the one run he did have he looked slower than usual, and I don't think there were any called QB runs. Regardless, a great win and he really progressed as a passer.

This is the best defense in the county. Period. They might not be the best statistically, but this is the best D we've had since 2017.

Ok, i can't really blame milroe for the bounce pass. I do blame him for saying " ok, whose bright idea was it to call a pass in this situation? We gonna run the ball and get the heck outta here."

One more thing, and I think someone mentioned it. The 3rd down conversion by Jase sealed this thing. He tips the ball with his knee down, but comes off the ground before he catches it and gets the first down. This would have a lot bigger gut wrencher if we don't convert that.

Also, I would have liked to see what happened if Jalen actually completed that first down pass. Would we have scored?
We might have. Benson is no scrub in the open field and he didn't have anyone within 10 yards of him.
