You got this reporting from somewhere other than rolling stone? I trust them about as much as I trust gas station sushi.

I googled “active clubs” and got a number of hits about them from different news sources.

How

We'll see what happens next week.
There are 221 GOP members in the House, and Jordan is the best they have? That's so disappointing. There's not one true leader in the GOP apparently, and then there's several million people outside the House, since the speaker doesn't have to be in the House of Representatives to be speaker. But, sadly the only person I've seen brought up to be an outside speaker is an multiple indicted former President.

from the article

To square this impossible circle, Republicans have relied on their favorite strategy: Relentless dishonesty. Lots of pseudo-compassionate noises about women's pain, while insisting that their sadistic impulses are "pro-life." They pretend to support hypothetical exceptions to abortion bans, which for the most part do not apply in actual reality. They make weak attempts to rebrand their agenda as "pro-baby." They feign support for contraception access while supporting organizations that actively work to demolish viable birth control.

And now I’m reading the moderate conservatives are caving. Get ready for a government shutdown. And it won’t last just a week.
