I would not be surprised if they did if for nothing than the flash and hubris. They’re meant for each other-
LK’s fondness for young ladies is better suited to where he is currently…I just don't see Lane at TAMU. Only way is they pay him crazy money, which we know they can/might do.
But I just can't see CLK embracing the weirdness of TAMU. And as someone in the other thread said there's no way he goes to a school that has male cheerleaders.
There is no debating that Ags have top- notch players at almost every position. JF wasn’t lying when he said “a play here, a play there…†(not exact quote). They have better talent across the board than all but a couple of SEC teams - JF just couldn’t make it happen. Somebody else might be able to…Money. Nothing more. Money now buys players. Get the best players with a good coach and you will win.
If Steven A says so, it's so, guy love's hearing himself talkI would not be surprised if they did if for nothing than the flash and hubris. They’re meant for each other-

If you read between the lines of the TA&M's AD, he spoke about having a positive attitude in the program. For whatever reason JF had become negative and combative...with the losses he has had I get that. The AD did not want him to win out and then the pressure would be to stay...There is no debating that Ags have top- notch players at almost every position. Petrino. Already on staff. Proven coach. No need for a locked-in long-term contract; other schools aren't going to be chasing him because of issues that arose from his motorcycle incident... which was years ago.
As far as I can tell, aTm at best is a place where coaches coach before they go coach national championship teams somewhere else. 😎People have always said this, but I’m sitting here asking “Why? Based on what?†Is this just something that’s generally accepted by the masses but it has absolutely no validity?
As a (sort of) aside. Stephen A. Smith is one of the biggest blowhard tools in sports commentary. Which is saying a lot.I would not be surprised if they did if for nothing than the flash and hubris. They’re meant for each other-
It is amazing that people who have amassed so much money can continue to make such bad coaching decisions.
Agreed. If the Aggies were to get the right guy in charge, they'd have the financial resources to contend for the SEC. The right coach turns them into a consistently good program.
Who they get is anyone's guess, but if it's the right guy and he's the right fit, watch out.
I see your point. Who knows it may work out that way. I just have a hard time picturing Kiffin wearing cowboy boots🤣Agreed.
Kiffin realizes that he has hit his ceiling at Ole Miss. He wants to beat Saban. In an NIL world, aTm is a destination job. Kiffin would be crazy not to take the gig if offered - especially the way that they fully guarantee contracts down there.
***Note the date - this is an old article***
But hahahahahaha, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!
