The barn is not going to play OM the same way they play Alabama.Everyone still trashing Pete but his defense gave up less points….is the point. Take from it what you want.

True, but that margin is very small. And the season is not over yet.*fewer
Bama is allowing fewer points this season than any time Gol*ing was DC.
I'm honestly still trying to understand how that debacle yesterday even happened. People expect us to be moved up after that? All year, our coaches have been able to get it together at halftime, but yesterday we scored exactly three points all second half except for the TD at the end. It was so bad, I had to go outside and take a walk in the cold air to get my mind off of it, and I walked back in and Auburn is still running on our defense.
I am only offering this post here to say that if Bama shows up ready and prepared and gives its best game of the season to Georgia, I won't even care if we lose as long as we didn't repeat that performance from yesterday. If they beat UGA and don't get in because others remain undefeated, well, it is what it is.
Every team that loses a game automatically gets ranked ahead of Bama. We lost to Texas after all, and per the committee, that’s all that matters. Here's a good question. With this incompetent committee, If we beat Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, will they slide the Bulldogs to 4 and leave us out...LOL!![]()

I mean at a certain point it doesn’t matter, and I am confident in saying you would agree it doesn’t matter. Cases such as James Madison (until last weekend), UCF a couple years ago, etc. The question is merely, do the conference schedules of the main conferences support the argument for a “legit†undefeated season, or not. They are undefeated. When that doesn't matter anymore, I am done with the game.
I was only including P5 teams. As Brad has said a few times, with rare exceptions (Cincy 2 years ago with NFL talent all over their roster) those other teams are not even playing the same sport.I mean at a certain point it doesn’t matter, and I am confident in saying you would agree it doesn’t matter. I think in general the conferences outside the SEC and BIG10 are pretty weak, but at the same time, in this particular season, the SEC hasn’t been world beaters either. So I would agree with you and lean towards ranking an undefeated team from a main conference over Bama right now.
The same could be said about UW. They looked AWFUL in a few games this year.I’m gonna be real honest. If I wasn’t a Bama fan I wouldnt think we deserved to be any higher than we are either. We looked like poop the first half of the season and our quality wins weren’t blowouts and struggling with a&m, tenn, and auburn doesn’t exactly look great either. The eye test component is eating our lunch here. And to be frank it should. We haven’t had a single game without major lapses somewhere. Now if we beat uga then we can talk resume but we haven’t done ourselves any favors.
I agree that they have looked bad since the Oregon win but for one they are undefeated with a win over a top 10 team and two I think anytime you’re asked about what you’ve done and your first instinct is to detract from competitors….oh boy you’re gonna be in trouble. We need a feather in our cap in the worst wayThe same could be said about UW. They looked AWFUL in a few games this year.
Becos it validates their initial ranking.I would be ok with this line of thought except how every other team has had unimpressive performances against big underdogs.
Why is Alabama held to a different standard?
My biggest complaint is the total inconsistency. Last year it was best resume. This year it’s the best on the eye test. It’s just annoying is all.I agree that they have looked bad since the Oregon win but for one they are undefeated with a win over a top 10 team and two I think anytime you’re asked about what you’ve done and your first instinct is to detract from competitors….oh boy you’re gonna be in trouble. I could see that very well happening. So much has to go on above us for us to make it IMO. We`re still at 8th with only Championship Saturday left to go.Here's a good question. After the IB, I swear if I`m Kirby Smart I run the ball EVERY play until we prove we can stop it. Especially the first time I have the ball.I'm honestly still trying to understand how that debacle yesterday even happened. People expect us to be moved up after that? Couple things:After the IB, I swear if I`m Kirby Smart I run the ball EVERY play until we prove we can stop it. Especially the first time I have the ball.

The barn is not going to play OM the same way they play Alabama.
Not possibleNo idea how this is all going to play out, but if we don't get in I'd sure love a rematch with Texas.
