That’s just how Golding is, not quite enough to be super elite.

I’d wager you could take almost any of his games here and pick 5-7 plays and totally change the view of that defense. Some fluky third down play, or a big gainer to get out past the 20. He was always just a couple plays from slamming the lid on their fingers.

It’s not that B1G teams don’t have fast guys or really talented players but it’s just the week in week out NON STOP speed that SEC teams see and are used to. Players who are used to the plodding nature of the majority of their opponents just aren’t ready for the “pedal to the metal” gear these teams bring.

These announcers..... the first couple of drives they were saying how Pedo defense was killing the oline and they were the best in the country and Dart may not finish the game.
