Good news on the transfer front. Washington edge Noah Carter is in the portal and trending big to Bama. He was a 4* top 100 player and highest rated Washington signee in 2023.

Also heard Washington starting center will be in town this weekend and this is an area of need with McLaughlin gone.

It's time to call in the BRINKS TRUCK and get someone who can Center the ball.
IMO: If we had a CENTER Jim Harbaugh would not have that smug look on his cheating face.
We were unlucky against Michigan. If the ball was Rolled to our QB less, or Centered over the QBs head less or even Centered in the general direction of our QB, we would have had several additional scores and the outcome of the game would have favored Alabama.

Don't forget that $5000.00 fine. I'm sure that FSU is sweating that one out. But maybe they don't have it after stealing all those BAMA players.
The NCAA also hit them with a 1% fine of the football budget, which I believe is around $100 million. Still, considering schools in the SEC get hit with fines in excess of $100k for fans “storming” the field or the court, $900k to a million bucks isn’t that big of a hit.

And they seemed so worried about it, they extended Norvell’s contract the very next day.

Maybe the transfer sophomore from A&M, Naquil Betrand.
Most of the stuff I’ve read about him says he has a very high upside but is still really raw. Somewhat of a project.

But then again based on the performance of our oline last year, everyone was a “project”.

Maybe Huff can work some magic

Maybe parents, unless asked for advice, should stay out of things. Sounds like Caleb had a BAMA offer he was happy with, and was happy being here. Why not let the kid stay where he's happy instead of shopping him like a piece of meat.

Parents, with athletes children, often are living vicariously through them. In this case, it feels more like his dad telling him that they are going to get as much money as they can right now.

The problem then comes when Caleb hears what his dad is telling the media vs what the truth actually is.

Trust is something easily broken, not easily repaired. I hope his dad had Caleb's best interest at heart and not his own.

Yep but I’m going to have to give Jimmy Sexton the GOAT of agents title. He got a coach who put his school on probation, had sanctions incoming, lost his last game by 60 an 8 year extension and basically over a 2 million dollars a year raise. I wonder if he is secretly a Jedi.

Some uga radio sports DJ, said he "heard" Bama offered Norvell "everything" and he said no and fsu gave him a raise. Then we "settled" for DeBoer after also being turned down by "several others". He offered zero proof only that he "heard it". I think the real story is Sexton let it leak when there was no truth to it at all. Sexton is really good at what he does.

Oh yea every agent that’s worth a grain of salt linked their clients to the Alabama head coaching job. I wonder if Sexton gave Saban a certain percentage of all these new deals 😂 Saban made a lot of coaches and players gents a lot of money this cycle. Maybe Saban is Jimmy Sextons agent 😜

I can't wait for us to drop 50+ points on UGA this coming season.

All the pressure will be on them for sure. They will prolly be a large favorite in Vegas but if he loses to Deboer in his first year, Dawg fans will wonder if Smart can ever beat Alabama constantly. This will make us a very dangerous team this first and second year. Players will have a chip on shoulder to prove Alabama isn’t going anywhere and Deboer will have everyone in the media doubting him and questioning everything he does. Hopefully we can shut up the talking heads.

Can't get half your team to play in Orange bowl, lose 63-3, get put on probation and get a 8 year $80 million contract extension. Ain't 'Merica great
