The OSU coaching staff was going to have a meeting today to decide whether they want to try and get him but I haven't heard any more about it. Apparently their QB room is quite full and they have a 5-star QB coming in named Air Noland who's supposed to be really good. If they think Noland is good enough they may pass on Sayin. If that happens then Sayin's likely headed back home to play at USC.

If you read what he said, they did not tamper. They just offered encouraging words when he was struggling early in the season. I am not saying that tampering does not happen, but this would not be tampering.

I just don't think that was happening here. Iowa would have zero inclination that they could pull him away from Alabama. I mean, this is a school that knows what they are and what they are not. The favorite player on this year's team was their punter for a reason.

That is how I took it too but I can see where it could be taken the other way. Really don't matter if it was tampering if she leaves you lol!!! She be gone and didn't really love you anyway!!!

If these collectives and boosters are so brazen as to tamper with player during the season, outside of the portal period or even before they enter the portal, then when are we going to hear about a player(s) taking money funneled through a collective by a influential booster to “tank” during a game? I can see it.

IMO, this is already happening on some level.

Agreed. Thing is, he was struggling even against USF. The Alabama offensive line had only one good game all year, against Georgia. And after watching that game a few times, I believe that was because of Georgia’s defensive game plan. They did not try to attack Milroe, and it made the offensive line look like they played well. IMO, they played the same, but Georgia’s game plan made it look like they played better than they really did.

I look forward to seeing what a real offensive line coach can do for Alabama next year.

He was the left tackle at Alabama. He struggled with other teams defensive linemen. So, he struggled at Alabama.

I think that was the Tweeters words. He meant what Proctor said happened back when he was struggling in the SEC. Proctor did not mention struggling in the SEC. He only said they contacted him mid season. Or whatever. The Tweeter likely needed a comma.

No, it’s actually what Proctor said in the video. I don’t know that there’s any real significance of it, but that’s what he said.
