I checked the stats, UNC had 10 3 pointers at the half, finished with 12. Percentage went from 62.5% to 37.5%.

I’d also like to note that the officiating was terrific tonight in comparison to what we’ve had to deal with the last few weeks. A couple small gripes for both teams, but not to the point where it affected the outcome or created a feeling of bias. Hope this crew sticks around until Saturday.

Btw- we owe Clemson from the pre-conference schedule. I watched that game @ Disney. I told my wife after that game, that unless something changes we’re a NIT team this year. I’m glad I was wrong.

In 2004, we really stood no chance vs. UCONN. But this year is as good of a path to the final four as we will get

Sure hope I can stream Saturday's game on my flights home to ABQ from JAX. Thankfully tomorrow's kayaking trip with the kiddos isn't until the afternoon.

BTW, if you need an out-of-the-way vacation spot I highly recommend Amelia Island, FL!

I agree on the house money part. I honestly didn't know what to expect after the SEC tourney showing. Believed they could either lose in the first round or make it to the sweet 16. I'm glad they chose the sweet 16 route.

Beating UNC at this stage is one more step un solidifying Bama as an elite program under cno

It was fun sneaking looks at the 247 UNC thread. Finally, on about page 67 said that they just got beaten by a better team with a better coach. Then a guy replied that Oats was the best coach in the county, in his opinion. Their hotheads are calming down and realizing they were lucky. If Wrightsell is on the floor, there would have been blood there. It would have been double digits...

I did the same lol ... most were saying they lost due to bad coaching at the end, the ill-advised 3 and not being able to stop mustache guy from Alabama lol
