Bad cop, good cop stories, III

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

I also saw it yesterday. Dude has ruined his life, his family’s life, and the life of the family of the dead woman. Killing someone has far reaching consequences.

Sonya Massey shooting: Deputy’s body camera footage released
Prosecutors in Illinois have released body camera footage showing law enforcement officers opening fire on an unarmed Black woman who called them for help.
The pot was sheerest BS. He killed her out of anger, not knowing his camera was running...

I agree 100%. This made my blood boil because this lady reminded me of many of my client's in my mental health days. I said it all the time then and I'll say it again now: law enforcement is NOT capable of properly handling someone with serious MI.

We don't know that she was ill. She was religious, that's for sure. Her rebuking him in the name of Jesus was what killed her...

The article I had found hours ago mentioned that she had acute schizophrenia. I'll try to find it.

Here it is....

Massey, whom her daughter confirmed was paranoid-schizophrenic, had called police because she thought someone was trying to break into her home. When police arrived, they began looking into Massey’s home with flashlights, a neighbor, Cheryl Evans, told the Guardian. Evans wondered why police had not knocked on her door, as they typically have done in the past when searching for suspects. Eventually, Grayson, who is white, and his partner entered the home where they began speaking to Massey.

So yes, this is why I blew my top a little on this story. I worked with folks like this for a long time and pointing a gun at them is the last thing one should do.

I had not read that. That explains the strange religious remark. Even a boiling pot of water doesn't justify murder, which is what it was. His strange remarks come from his impression his camera was off...His

No doubt and that is why he is being charged with murder (as well he should be.) I know we can't do so in a "civilized" society, but I would turn this punk over to the victim's family and let them mete out the justice this calls for.

The final conviction will probably be only for manslaughter, mainly because he was wearing blue...

Put this scum in gen pop and led it be known that he's an ex-cop child molester.

Problem solved.

Convicts have a better grasp of justice than our justice system does. Let that sink in for a moment.

The U.S. Secret Service is apologizing to a Massachusetts salon owner after an agent covered her security camera with duct tape and broke into her salon by picking the lock so that its bathroom could be used by various people for a two-hour period.

After the two-hour period, Secret Service agents left her salon unlocked and left the tape covering the camera.

The woman was told by others that the lead Secret Service agent was directing people to use her salon’s bathroom without authorization.

The agents were in the neighborhood to secure the area ahead of a Kamala Harris fundraiser. The woman understood she needed to close her salon but didn’t expect the rest of what happened.

That is the purest arrogance...
