I hope Ty and Co are that much better than Holstein, but I think it is more likely that Holstein just wasn't ready yet for Alabama. Pitt has lower standards and can afford to start a less experienced QB and let him grow. At Alabama the expectations are much higher (though we are clearly not meeting those this season regardless).

I highly respect Jess, but I think alot of people have American Idol Syndrome when it comes to Milroe being an NFL QB. As far as transferring, not sure why he would. He is a starter and making more NIL money then he would at any other school.

Jess said there is a "zero percent" chance he is our QB next season regardless of whether he transfers. So the reason he would transfer (if he decided not to enter the draft) is because he would be told he is no longer the QB at the University of Alabama.

I agree. I would rather lose with guys who do things the right way than win with those who don't. Of course, most people no longer feel that way.

4th string with no meaning snaps all of last year and he is on track for 3000 yards plus his first year at a new school in a new system as a RS Freshman. Ty Simpson has to be the most patient backup on this planet

He's a coach's kid. They are cut from a different cloth. Most of them are mature beyond their years. Again, pure speculation, but he's probably been told to sit back and wait. His turn is coming.

He and his dad I think have both said they're comfortable with the Mac Jones route. I'm just surprised they would be comfortable with it with the alleged turmoil around him.

If Milroe transferred, I would think Auburn would be a very likely destination.

I respect the heck out of him for hanging in there because it can't be easy.

No matter what happens going forward whether he's here or somewhere else I'll be rooting for him to have a great career.

I hope Jess is correct, but there are two things I have learned in life. Never say zero% chance or 100% chance regarding anything. The coaches have to see, so why wait until next season. The last thing we all want is this to affect the recruiting class.

The Raiders will be the "Colts" of next year's draft and be the sucker team who uses their top three pick to take Milroe and they'll get the same results as the Colts have with Richardson. An athlete trying to play QB at the highest level.

As a long-suffering Raiders fan, I hope you are wrong, but this is so on par with what the organization would do.
