Questions about Milroe.

Posted this on the Mizzou thread, but since Booker came up here I'll post it here as well. Talk is cheap and all that but it seems at least Coach Shep is saying Booker is doing some of the right things. Hopefully it shows up on the field.

So....if Milroe was replaced midgame and Simpson came in.....is Booker still this guy that's doing some of the right things?

Are we going to keep pounding that square peg in the round hole?

My guess is only Booker and maybe the coaches know that.

Maybe so; but wonder how much he could make teamed up with coach Prime?? Who will be looking for a new QB; or maybe a new job?

Shedeur Sanders is a legit 1st rounder on a crappy team. If this guy is on our team, we are putting up 50 a game easy.
Can you imagine Milroe in the film room with John Gruden, like they did years ago with the top QBs of the draft.
"Jalen they showed you a base zone and you had 3 on the left and one in the slot on the right. You held on to the ball for 7 seconds, missed 3 wide open guys and then overthrew the outlet RB in the flat. Explain your thought process on this play if you please"
Shedeur Sanders throws the ball with ease, very fluidly, Milrore looks like he his throwing 10 lb brick.

That's because Milroe is not and never shall be....a QB.

Easy answer: “Correct play should’ve been “keep the ball and run to the right”"

We scored 35 points against Vandy with only 18 minutes of possession.

The offense wasn't the problem in that game.

The flow of the game, the way the offense operated, the turnovers at the absolute most CRITICAL times…how every time we got the ball back when it was a ONE SCORE game we COULD NOT take the lead…

…the offense was definitely PART of the problem and that includes LANK and his two turnovers and inability to lead a scoring drive when it was a ONE score game.

Again…

*Before the season*

“We know our defense is incredibly thin. Our offense will have to carry us”

I even remember one well-known poster on here proudly proclaiming how “vastly improved” Milroe was…

and I seen all these issues well before the Tennessee game and got absolutely hammered on here..

I was correct in my assessment, and it’s the same consistent message I have had all year. This defense is actually good enough to win games.

You have to not only score points in this day and age, but be efficient in the way you operate.

Don’t turn the ball over 2 or 3 times a game, go 3 and out half the possessions, but hit a few big plays and then proclaim “Milroe is VASTLY IMPROVED and the offense is NOT THE PROBLEM!

Yes it is. And it has been all year long.

That's why I was keeping my mouth shut till the end of the season lol. There was still a lot of doubt imo

Exaxtly…the issues were there. They were just being overlooked because “35 points against Vanderbilt!!!!” 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yeah, and he was our fourth string last year. So think about how much better Simpson is if that guy is balling out! Boz from another bama board that goes to these private scrimmages in the fall once again, said, leading up to the season that "Simpson was playing better than Milroe" in those fall scrimmages.
imagine what Ty would be like with 1.5 years of starting under his belt.

Milroe to Auburn would make too much sense…Milroe appears to be immature enough to make that move out of spite; and Auburn would do it for optics if nothing else. Plus Milroe can still use LANK at the Barn, just swap out the A’s.😂
