Jalen Milroe appreciation thread

Looks like we may get to appreciate him next year too:

Decisions will be made if this happens...

Perhaps. I take anything written on this site with a grain of salt the size of Tuscaloosa.

To summarize, if he plays well in the next 4-5 games then he goes to the NFL.
However, if he sucks in the next 4 games then he comes back to Alabama forcing Simpson & Lonergan to transfer.

Hell, NO….

If he is Alabama's QB next year, and I do not think that he will be, but if he is, losing other QBs will be the least of your problems.

As I said on another thread, with JM there are no guarantees. But I guess that is stating the obvious given his inconsistency the last two years. I absolutely could see him deciding to return next year. Then it would be on the coaching staff to make a decision by telling Jalen the job is “open” or they’ve decided to go “another direction” (forcing his transfer).

In the case of the former where they open up the competition, if you are Simpson or Lonergan do you roll the dice and hang around? Not for a second…

Yeah I understand this article is TDA and pretty much all Smith does is “parrot” other people’s content. But the stuff about JM staying is coming from Luginbill.

These days with NiL and transfers, nobody knows what players are thinking.

And like you said, there will be issues other than the QB position if that happens.

He could transfer to USCw and Riley can "let him loose".

I'm going to keep hanging my hat on what JessN said, and those other Bama insiders, on the other boards, where they're saying that there's 0% chance he's returning.

so these “insiders” know this, and it’s info available to us fans as well….but JM himself doesn’t know?

I respect JessN and hope he’s correct…but it seems if this info is available to us fans…then JM would be aware of it as well which doesn’t make any sense at all….

I think regardless what JessN said, there is a very real possibility of JM returning…and anyone who claims to “know” what he will do, or already know at this point what he will be “told” to do by the coaches is just wishful thinking…certainly not anything of “100%” certainty at this point…

This is a really really weak QB class. I think it would make sense for Milroe to go pro personally.

I'm not sure there is a true top 10 QB pick in this class based on what I've read and seen. I also think some of the "top" guys will also come back like Nussmeier
