of course, it could go the other way and they pull a Prime move, clean house, sign top athletes from the portal and win the NC next year.

But, I don't think he's going to tolerate much of the shenanigans college players exhibit. And that academic stuff is gonna have to be limited.

I think it is a bad sign. Just proves the point that this is now a professional league and has nothing to do with college football, the university, anything.

The BIG/SEC split can't come soon enough now. Just make it the Northern and Southern Conference of Minor League Football.

You can just hear CBB say “what do you mean you have to go to class?”
 
He will hire a GM to do the recruiting and probably won’t interact much with the recruits unless his personality changes and he enjoys that.
I read Tommy Rees had 2 interviews and would have probably been next in line. Saban vouched for him. It will certainly be interesting.

Given that all the legendary coaches of his era are doing the exact opposite, I can only think this is not going to end well. Those Coeds better watch out!
