My prediction: disaster

Belichick ... will be embarking on his first job coaching college football at any level.

of course, it could go the other way and they pull a Prime move, clean house, sign top athletes from the portal and win the NC next year.

But, I don't think he's going to tolerate much of the shenanigans college players exhibit. And that academic stuff is gonna have to be limited.

I certainly did not have this on my 2024 bingo card. That said, I am really excited about this. I have no love for UNC, but it will be extremely fascinating to see this all play out!

I think it is a bad sign. Just proves the point that this is now a professional league and has nothing to do with college football, the university, anything.

The BIG/SEC split can't come soon enough now. Just make it the Northern and Southern Conference of Minor League Football.

In that case, this is probably the best move their football program has ever made. Even if it doesn't work out with Bill, they're now set up for success.

He will hire a GM to do the recruiting and probably won’t interact much with the recruits unless his personality changes and he enjoys that.
I read Tommy Rees had 2 interviews and would have probably been next in line. Saban vouched for him. It will certainly be interesting.
