Starters for Bowl Game?

That's what I've seen his value at...between $1.6mm and $2.5mm...but even if he actually made the top figure, it's more like $1mm after taxes (assuming he's paying taxes...if not, he's got big trouble on the horizon) and other expenditures.

Certainly a fantastic amount of money for a kid just out of college, but it's still a pittance compared to what he'll make if he's a first rounder in the NFL.

My heart says to let Ty play this game and get some experience for next year, since this game doesn't matter, lets use this as live practice.

My gut says Murphy gets us and Ty gets hurt, and he is lost for the following year, yeah thats how Murphy rolls....

Curious with it being a consolation bowl for us if CKD treats this like the mercer game and everyone gets in vs very competitive …whether developing for next season or not.

Hope Ty starts and finishes, his first real opportunity to play with first string. My disquietude is that JM starts the first half, Ty the second with an OL that plays < 100% as a statement

Because the regular season is over now and Deboer doesn't have to worry about the team falling apart and missing the playoff. They already missed the playoff. Let Simpson play and see what you have for next year. The best thing would obviously be if Milroe opted out to prepare for the draft.

I understand the logic, just don't think it will happen.

Milroe playing. I assume booker does as well. And I wouldn't assume any seniors bit to play if they're healthy.

Only ones I'm not certain of would be overtime or Jackson. But I assume they play and think both plan to return but have tough decisions to make. (I assume brailsford and roberts also play, and also has a tough draft decisions to make)

Tell the starters that they get the first quarter and then the rest of the roster rotates in for the remainder of the game.

If any of the starters complaint, tell them they're benched for the entire game.

Starting to come out one by one now but brailsford is playing and returning in 2025.

In all fairness, this is the last game of the 2024 season and the cluster crap clown show CKD has had to manage wrt lockerroom dynamics has been exhausting I'm sure. It's one game and rather than cause a massive uproar in the media and bench Milroe, the best bet is to let the kid play, get the team their 15 practices and a bowl game, and put a bow on the 2024 season.

There's always talk about opt outs and preparing for next year but this is what Campbell had to say. And I love that most of our team has this mentality.

I understand, but we have put ourselves in CKD’s shoes. He’s tasked with keeping the 10 wins streak going, and possibly a bonus for winning the bowl game. I think the narrative of benching the starters, playing for next year, and running the risk of losing the bowl game is not going to happen.

I respectfully disagree.

I'm flat tried of watching a grown man acquiesce to this crap.

He's not a good QB or Leader or Teammate.

In fact.. he's a BAD QB and a BAD leader and a BAD teammate.

It's all about him.

It's HIS QB1 Job, It's HIS Showcase, It's HIS time to call his own number repeatedly.

By hell or highwater Milroe is NOT going to let anybody else take QB1 practice reps or game snaps.

It's completely flabbergasting that ONE player is more powerful that a HC making $10 MILLION dollars per year.
