There are people who still operate under the delusion that Saban‘s office at BDS is a real thing and that he meets with DeBoer all the time. Lunacy. Why would this even be a thing? Saban is not Deboer's boss. Saban has his own thing now. I think the OC position needs to be re-evaluated.
I don’t think it would have been possible to lose to those schlubs no matter how many young players we put in the game if we had played another QB.Wasted practices.
Now fans are mad because (reasons), but they forget that sometimes losing is okay if it serves a purpose. This loss served no purpose.
What kind of man is he? What evidence is there? Dude is the most selfish player I’ve seenLook Milroe is not a QB, people will stand up for him because of the kind of man he is, but he is no QB, he was never coming out of games this year and here's why, it is known ( people on here smarter than me know this I'm sure) that the university and Milroe/ Arnold last year struck a million dollar deal on this lank stuff, if he's not on the field it's worthless, also Greg Byrne could not push Saban around so he retires and Byrne hires CKD who is a yes man! If Milroe comes back, next year will be worse I'm done till spring Tidefans RTR
Have we? He’s had ten attempts in his career once — against Mercer. We have seen Ty play in real games. He is a much better QB than Milroe.
Not me, Mullen was a lazy recruiter. If he couldn’t get it done at UF, he sure wouldn’t have here.UNLV just made a home run hire with Dan Mullen.
Wish he was here.
He stuck with Milroe because of NILIMO if he could play we’d have seen him playing by now.
Maybe. I just don’t buy the idea that CKD is sticking with Milroe out of stubbornness, loyalty, or because he’s an idiot. I think he has reason to think Milroe gave him the best chance to win.
Ty may be the real deal but definitely haven't seen enough to be sold on him.Have we? He’s had ten attempts in his career once — against Mercer.
Ty won the USF game last year. With an OL that refused to block for him.Have we? He’s had ten attempts in his career once — against Mercer.
I know some people think he was never good but, I cannot explain the fall off from the UGA game until now and it was a real fall off, I mean he was a consensus first round after that game, and some even had him as QB1 and now he looks like a UFL QB at best.Milroe’s stock is falling faster than a pair of over-stretched tighty-whities. He did himself no favors today. In hindsight, I’m betting he wishes he’d opted out. (Lord knows, most of us wish that, too.)
defense was terrible, gave up 190 total yards. If you told me that before the game, I would say Bama wins 100 time out of 100. That sideline penalty changed the game to me. I know they didnt do anything with the ball, but coming out of the half, stuffing Michigan, then get a 15 yard penalty changed the momentum of the game. That defense, though.
He was 5 of 9 for 73 yards. Took 5 sacks.Ty won the USF game last year. With an OL that refused to block for him.
I think someone needs to push Sheridan on down the road and hire a better OC and OLThe big issue I see is that Milroe is hiding some other issues.
If you just go it's all Milroe's fault, you are kind if ignoring other areas of concern. For instance, there was no established running game this year. When you have a quarterback that's unreliable, that's exactly when you should be investing a lot of time and effort into getting it going. Instead, Alabama has a running back that averaged a perfectly respectable 5.7 per rush leaving because he only got 79 carries.
This team is set up to put everything on the shoulders of the QB and when he doesn't play well, we can all blame the QB. What we're not doing it asking why everything was put on his shoulders in the first place. The offensive coordinator is mediocre, was fired because his offense sucked at Indiana and is only here because he knew DeBoer. That's a problem, there are other problems to but unless Penix is going to come back to college, I'm not sure DeBoer's offense is going to look like what we think his offenses look like...
he was on kickoff returns at least once. he tentatively ran a kick out and got tackled at the 15I thought we would see mbakwe on offense. Did he even play? I don’t recall seeing #9.
He saw something others didnt see..............or he didn't see what others have seen foreverPost game conference:

DeBoer said “no I didn’t” when asked if he considered a change at quarterback with Jalen Milroe struggling early. “I saw a fighter. The fight in his eyes. As long as I see that, I want to hang in there with the guys this program means a lot to.”

He better declare , another year like this one and he will be an UDFA hoping to latch on to a practice squad.I know some people think he was never good but, I cannot explain the fall off from the UGA game until now and it was a real fall off, I mean he was a consensus first round after that game, and some even had him as QB1 and now he looks like a UFL QB at best.
