Results of US strikes on Fordo ‘really not good,’ Israeli sources say

The achievements of Israeli and US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities are still being evaluated, and it’s too early to determine operational success, two Israeli sources tell the network, with one source downplaying the damage at Fordo and calling the outcome there “really not good.”

Both sources said they are unaware of how much enriched uranium Iran may have relocated ahead of the strikes, or how many centrifuges remain and are usable to enrich uranium in the future.

Conclusive findings may take months, if they are obtained at all, a source tells the US network.

The report comes as US President Donald Trump said that Israel sent agents into Fordo after the US strikes who said that the key nuclear site had been “obliterated.” Israeli officials told the Kan public broadcaster that they were unaware of an Israeli operation at the site.

also seems like it showed the world the limitations of our vaunted bunker busters, or whatever they’re called
I knew when he said “completely and totally eliminated” it was a vast oversell but I thought there was a legitimate chance that it might have hit its target. But I think Hiroshima has practically influenced what everyone’s perception of bombings are. The truth is aerial bombings are an art not a science. Without ground units there really aren’t many guarantees that they work as well as they do.

I think all 3 countries have legitimate worry about the consequences and failures exposed in the war.

This administration has never been concerned with facts, so why would they start now? In Trump's world, they are "totally obliterated" because he saw a pic of a few holes. That's it, that's the end of it in his little worthless brain. Every piece of evidence to the contrary that comes out after doesn't make sense in his worthless little brain.

It's just like the 2020 election when early results were leaning his way, but as more votes were counted, it started to change. That's when he came out on stage and said one of the dumbest things a President has ever said, "We won, stop counting the votes". From that point forward, that was the only thing he believed.

Whatever stupid conclusion his little mind initially latches onto, that's what it will always be to him. Everyone else is forever wrong, even when it is his military telling him they were not destroyed.

We don't really know. There were only 6 holes and I've heard either 12 or 14 BB bombs. I'm guessing the latter, since 7 planes have been illustrated consistently on animations. I've heard that they were trying to place bombs in the same holes for a multiplier effect. I doubt they wasted many of these bombs on the surface facility, since that's not what they're designed for. Time will tell, I hope...

The Israelies don't play.
Yeah but it raises questions… if they could locate these many Iranian generals then why can’t they locate the hostages after two years and why the gross amounts of destruction to Gaza’s civilian population.

Worse yet… have they wasted so much on defending Iranian missiles that they are now more prone to attack to others. And with all the military chain of command hit does this give the hard liners in Iran a chance at power.

I think all 3 sides lost in an unnecessary war that accomplished nothing. Yeah we can do body counts and destruction reports but I’m reminded of Afghanistan too.
