Strategic strike or lotsa boom boom?
OK - lotsa boom boom it is!

Amen! When I heard his statement, I just thought about how naive he still is about EVERYTHING
True, but thanks to Trump, at least half of them are now once again on the anti-war bandwagon. Not because they are morally opposed to war, but you know, orange man bad. I guess if one looks hard enough, there's a silver lining in everything. One thing I’ve learned watching Trump and a large chunk of his base are how many Boomers are all in favor of almost any war of the last 25 years, but they sure as Hell had a problem with the one war in which they themselves were supposed to fight.
I wish I could agree, but Graham is like a cockroach. You think the roach spray did the trick and when you go to scoop him up and throw him in the trash where he belongs, he once again bolts to the nearby scum-filled crack. If there is one thing that I will be thankful to Trump for is that he practically made Lindsey Graham irrelevant.
I saw that, too. That is the frustration level of a man who is just now starting to realize that these two countries are not likely to cooperate with him. He feels like he did his duty in setting the table, but instead of sitting down, these countries are getting drunk at the bar and starting a fight that knocks the table over on its side.CNN literally just played Trump saying the F word on live tv.

Nobody who makes this objection ever stops to realize he is, in fact, quite bad.
No, he's not wrong about everything - but neither is my non-working clock from the Black Forest, either.
Do you not remember that he mused about default very early in his first term? Then the adults in the room (none left now) rushed to explain to the oversized toddler why that was a very bad idea, the dollar being the world's reserve currency and all...He did that on purpose.
He ALWAYS does that sexual slang nonsense on purpose.
Once upon a time, we were smarter than to elect Cliff Clavin's Evil Twin to high office, particularly when his only experience was declaring bankruptcy. (Has anyone explained to him he cannot do that with the national debt?)
Being a Baby Boomer I can honestly say that I never supported any of the wars and in retrospect we can see what a waste of life and treasury they all were. I look back at the WW ll generation in my family to value what they left for us and with great regret realize how we have squandered it. We could discuss and debate the future for weeks, at least, but I am not optimistic for us to remain as a global power. One thing I’ve learned watching Trump and a large chunk of his base are how many Boomers are all in favor of almost any war of the last 25 years, but they sure as Hell had a problem with the one war in which they themselves were supposed to fight.

Alabama, this is your next senator.
Unless the cheeto in chief gets us all killed.

You too. Just promise ya'll kick Kirby’s baby butt this year.

Remember that he used to call himself "The King of Debt." Kick the can down the road is nothing new to him. He genuinely doesn't care about deficits...I looked this up because I honestly didn't remember it off the top of my head. Grant me grace because it's impossible to keep up with all of his gyrating nonsense. Smart politics was always having a theme that you hammered for days, weeks, months - and then pivoted to something else.
But what I found was essentially he toyed during the CAMPAIGN (2016) with the idea of "settling" the debt (August 15, 2016), which of course is just another word for default. The miracle of God is that he actually listened to people telling him why this was a catastrophic idea. (This speech occurred when I was VERY BUSY transitioning from a bench tech to a supervisor plus my commencement walk, so I know now why I didn't exactly process it).
But it's all he knows. "Settling the debt" was nothing more than one of his many Chapter 11 bankruptcies all over again.
