Don't forget one of the biggest grifts that doesn't get mentioned much: Trump purchasing $140 million in bonds since being inaugurated and now pressuring the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates, which would greatly increase the value of those bonds. MAGA is really all about making Trump rich again, and his sheep can't see it.

It is obvious that the Fed is going to lower interest rates due primarily to the uncertainty Trump has created in the economy and the impact of his tarriffs. It really is a double edge sword for the Fed attempting to deal with a slowing economy along with the inherent inflation impact of the tarriffs. It is controversial as to what impact the Fed can have on long term rates to fund our debt. I have seen arguments both ways.

Anyway the Fed isn't without fault along with Congress in running the country into the conundrum we find ourselves in.
